From the Christmas Island Airport, proceed to Settlement. STOP at the stop sign at the bottom of Murray Road hill. Go straight ahead and fully around the round-a-bout, coming back toward Gaze Road. Travel 7mins on Gaze Road (40km/hr). Mango Tree Lodge is the last accommodation on the left hand side.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited accommodation capacity and the remote nature of Christmas Island, Mango Tree Lodge applies the following cancellation and refund policy:
Cancellations made 0–7 days prior to scheduled arrival: No refund (100% of booking value forfeited)
Cancellations made 8–30 days prior to scheduled arrival: 50% refund of total booking value
Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to scheduled arrival: Full refund
All cancellation periods are calculated based on calendar days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your financial institution.
Booking fees charged by third-party platforms may be non-refundable and are subject to the terms of those providers.
Mango Tree Lodge is unable to provide refunds or credits in the event of:
• Flight cancellations
• Flight delays
• Missed connections
• Changes to airline schedules
• Inability to travel due to airline, weather, or operational issues
Given the remoteness of Christmas Island and the limited flight services available, we strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel. Insurance should cover cancellations, delays, medical needs, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
